Ink Spots to perform at Class of ‘49 Reunion by Nancy Santangelo Collier, ‘49 Through the years, NHS Class of 1949 has demonstrated exceptional loyalty, genuine friendship, outstanding service and extraordinary achievement. For their 50th Anniversary Class Reunion, the Class showed their appreciation to their alma mater by raising over $9,000 for scholarships awarded to three 1999 NAHS graduating seniors pursuing higher education. On Friday, October 1, 2004, the ‘49’ers will be celebrating their 55th Class Reunion at the Westover Country Club. Chairpersons Dorothy and Clarence Rader are busy making plans with the reunion committee. In addition to looking forward to renewing long friendships and sharing an evening of camaraderie, a very special treat is in store. Thanks to the generosity of Mili Della Lilley, a classmate who has been unable to attend any previous reunions, the internationally renown musicians, The Ink Spots, will perform at the dinner banquet. Mili, who has been manager of The Ink Spots since 1980, wanted to do something for her class and this is her gift. |
