The Norristown Area School District partners with the Colonial and Upper Merion School Districts to operate the Central Montco Technical High School. Our programs at Central Montco Technical High School are designed for the college-bound student as well as those who intend to enter the workforce after graduation.
The School District also partners with the Intemediate Units of Chester, Montgomery, Delaware and Bucks Counties to operate the Brandywine Virtual Academy (BVA). BVA is open to students already enrolled in Virtual Academies. The courses are designed to align with Pennsylvania Department of Education standards and accommodate multiple learning styles, abilities and intelligences. Each course is infused with robust vocabulary, teaching and reinforcement practice, real world situations and various assessment strategies. Webcasts, WebQuests, audio files, videos, podcasts, online textbooks and online discussion boards are just several ways that technology is integrated in our curriculum.
