All three of our middle schools took home awards during the annual Future City Competition in Philadelphia!
Eisenhower Science and Technology Leadership Academy earned Best Regional Vision and Best Pride and Quality, while Stewart Middle School earned Best Innovation in Sustainable Engineering. East Norriton Middle School was recognized for Rethinking Infrastructure for Public Spaces.
Future City is a yearly local and national engineering competition that asks Middle School students to design and build a city a century in the future. Students must factor in many important changes to our environment and daily lives, while engineering solutions to the many challenges we face today. This multi-disciplinary project is an enjoyable learning experience that enriches our students in math, science, civics and engineering.
