Highlights of Science Fair 2014
The purpose of a Science Fair is to stimulate interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The philosophy behind the competition is that students learn science by doing science. This provides an opportunity for students to excel and reach their full potential fostering intellectual curiosity and creative problem solving - essential skills for future innovation.
All Norristown Area School District elementary and middle schools students participated again this year. The building level winning projects were showcased at the Norristown Area High School during the district-wide Science Fair held on February 20 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m., with an awards presentation that followed.
Congratulations to all our students in grades K - 8 who participated!
