Congratulations East Norriton Middle School students for placing 1st in the 2014 Sea Perch Challenge Oral Presentation category!
As a result of the students' first place finish during a Sea Perch Challenge hosted at Drexel University on April 25 and 26, our students received a trophy and will participate in the American Society of Naval Engineers, Delaware Valley section (ASNE-DV) Electric Machines Technology Symposium (EMTS) 2014 to be held at Villanova University, Villanova PA, on May 28, 2014.
The EMTS 2014 is a biennial conference that provides the naval engineering community with the technical presentations, expert panels, and networking opportunities to keep abreast of the Navy's progress and remaining challenges in developing and providing smaller, simpler, more affordable, and more capable power systems for future Navy ships.
The students will attend the keynote address where they will be recognized in front of an audience of scientists and engineers. Engineers will engage the students with questions about the design and process of building their SeaPerch and engineering opportunities, along with other planned activities.
Great job, ENMS team!
