•  Norristown Area Education Foundation (NAEF) Tech Pathways Challenge

    $1,508,486

    ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE: Donors are encouraged to provide funding for one or more laptops, iMacs, or Smartboards.

    Goal 1: To replace 938 laptops the Norristown Area High School with equipment suitable for education and increase participation in robotics and Project Lead the Way.  

    Total expected cost for this project? $717,570

    Goal 2: To establish a Mac Lab in the NAHS Art Department (15 graphic arts machines) to accommodate an advanced Graphic Arts curriculum.  Annually, 320 students will receive Graphics Arts instruction as a result of this initiative. 

    Total expected cost for this project: $30,436

     Goal 3:  To equip every one of the 418 classrooms in Norristown Area School District with Smartboard technology to enhance the learning experience of the students. At this time, 222 have been deployed, leaving 196 without this 21st century learning tool.

    The cost to equip one classroom is $3880. Total expected cost for this project is $760,480
