• Mr. Augustus S. Lover III, Director of Operations

    Mr. Augustus S. Lover III comes to the Norristown Area School District in 2022 after spending 33+ years with The School District of Philadelphia.  Mr. Lover started his journey in June of 1989 as a 5-hour custodial cleaner and worked his way up to a Facility Area Manager (FAM) in April of 2017.  He regularly mentored building Engineers and Custodial Staff members to produce an excellent workplace and learning environment.  

    Mr. Lover graduated from Walter B. Saul High School and Strayer University earning an Associate's in Criminal Justice, Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and his Master's in Education. He has a National "A" class Engineering License and a certification in HVAC/R.  Mr. Lover served in the United States Marine Corps and is a Gulf War veteran. 

    One of his passions and accomplishments was starting The Pennsylvania Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Association, non-profit motorcycling organization with his father. His biggest joy is seeing his children become honorable adults in society and building a better tomorrow for our children. 

    Mr. Matthew Beasley Transportation Supervisor 

    Mr. Matthew Beasley is joining us from First Student. Matt has over 13 years in the transportation industry serving at all levels. Mr. Beasley started as driver and comes to us as the former location manager for Upper Merion School District. 

    Mr. Beasley graduated from Upper Merion High School. He has spent most of his life in and around the Norristown Area where he resides with his wife and two sons. 

    Mr. Cecil Speights, Custodial and Maintenance Supervisor

    Mr. Speights joined the Norristown Area School District in August 2012. He began his career in facilities services with the School District of Philadelphia in 1992. At the School District of Philadelphia he started as a supervisor for the custodial maintenance staff at various buildings until he was promoted in 2003 to a Facilities Area Coordinator. Then in 2011 he assumed the role of Regional Facilities Manager, which included supervising over 300 people at 70 different locations that encompassed over 5 million square feet of schools, office buildings and athletic fields.

    Cecil graduated from the High School of Engineering and Science and Cecil received additional education at Pennco Technical Institute for computer technology, receiving an associates degree. He has also received various certifications and licenses to operate various boiler systems, pools and other equipment related to the managing facilities. Mr. Speights continues to receive training and instruction by attending Pioneer Service School, Kingdom Ministry School and Theocratic Ministry School. These schools have enhanced his ability to communicate, train, counsel and mentor others both in his ministry and his work with our district.

    Cecil is a proud native Philadelphian but currently lives in Upper Bucks County with his wife. He spends the majority of his time involved in his ministry. He also enjoys traveling, reading and good music.
