Positive Things are Happening at Roosevelt
At the Roosevelt Campus of NAHS, we believe it takes a village to raise a child. We are extremely fortunate to partner with amazing community volunteers who enrich the educational experience of our students. On specific days each week during their advocacy, students have the opportunity to participate in groups. Examples of these groups include art, music and poetry groups run by Expressive Paths, Male leadership and Entrepreneurship run by CADCOM, Parenting through the Young Parent Program, and Art Therapy through the Lincoln Center, among others. Students are able to build relationships with these outstanding adult mentors while building self-esteem and enhancing their communication skills and talents.
The following groups are offered during advocacy at the Roosevelt Campus:
Art
Art Therapy
Future Planning
Grief
Guitar
