 Water:

  • Aqua is providing a moratorium on shut off notices
  • Pennsylvania American Water will be placing a moratorium and discontinuing service shut-offs at this time. Additionally, Pennsylvania American Water will begin the restoration of service to previously shut off customers prior to March 12, 2020. 

  Electric and Gas:

  • PECO is suspending service disconnections and waiving new late payment fees through at least May 1 and will be working with customers on a case-by-case basis to establish payment arrangements and identify energy assistance options, call 1-800-494-4000.  

Internet:

  • Comcast offers 2-months of FREE Internet essentials for new users, click here.
  • Spectrum is offering Free internet access to qualifying homes with students (kindergarten to college) for 60 days (to qualify: limited to new accounts(families) who do not already have a Spectrum internet subscription). Installation fees are waived, call 1844-488-8395

  • AT&T will not terminate the service of any wireless, home phone or broadband residential or small business customer because of their inability to pay their bill. For more information, click here.
  • T-Mobile Connect is a new program offering a $15 per month plan for unlimited talk and text plus 2GB of high-speed smartphone data. For more information, click here.

Community-based COVID-19 Testing Site for Municipality of Norristown Residents ONLY

Testing site does NOT require a prescription *appointment only*  

Criteria for testing MUST be met. Any person of any age with symptoms of sudden illness such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc with or without fever, or anyone with known or suspected direct contact to someone with COVID-19, or anyone who has been recommended by their doctor to get tested.
