Positive Incentive Program

Positive Incentive Program

The Roosevelt family is proud to continue this school year our school-wide behavior incentive plan. The incentive plan uses the acronym “ROOSEVELT CHAMPION” as a motivational tool to promote a positive school environment. Students are rewarded for their positive actions during a monthly raffle drawing held in the school all purpose room. Each Roosevelt teacher and staff member has a bundle of raffle tickets to distribute to students who display any of the “ROOSEVELT CHAMPION” qualities Students are awarded one raffle ticket for their positive action. Along with the raffle ticket, the students are informed of the positive behavior that was noticed.  A raffle drawing takes place once a month during an assembly, rewarding students who have received tickets. . Students who are selected at random can win gift cards, art/school supplies, college apparel, clothing, jewelry, and an assortment of other donated prizes. There is no limit to the amount of raffle tickets a student can be awarded during the day, and the more tickets received, the better chance a student has to win a prize during the raffle drawing. Teachers and staff are encouraged to actively seek out students who are displaying these positive qualities. The goal of the school-wide positive behavior plan is to motivate students to be the best they can be.
