Dr. David Lugo

Principal

Dr. Lugo recently joined the Norristown Area School District after spending 4 years in The School District of Philadelphia as an assistant principal, senior project manager, and professional learning specialist. Prior to that time in Philadelphia, Dr. Lugo served as high school social studies and Spanish teacher for 6 years and as a supervisor of secondary education for 3 years at the Mercer County Technical Schools.

Dr. Lugo earned his Ph.D. in 2020 from Temple University focusing on literacy, learners, and professional development. In 2009, he earned his M.S. from Lehigh University and graduated from Temple University with his Bachelor's in Secondary Education in 2003. 

Dr. Lugo has a Superintendent Letter of Eligibility, a Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction certificate, and a Spanish and Social Studies teaching certificate.

Born in San Juan, PR, Dr. Lugo moved to Pennsylvania in 1996. He believes that all students are to be given every opportunity to be successful and educators are one of the greatest assets for students to achieve that success.

Mr. Evan Kramp

Mr. Evan Kramp

Assistant Principal

Evan Kramp is the Assistant Principal at Charles L. Blockson Middle School. He started his career as a Social Studies teacher in the School District of Philadelphia. After spending 11 years there, he moved on to become an Assistant Principal in the Upper Darby School School District. He spent over 7 years in this position. Evan is proud to now serve as the Assistant Principal at Blockson Middle School in the Norristown Area School District. 

Evan lives in Havertown with his wife and two children. When he is not at Blockson he loves to go running, travel, attend concerts, and root for Philadelphia sports teams: the Phillies, Eagles, and 76ers.
