Dr. Christina Taylor

Principal

Dr. Taylor joined the Norristown Area School District in 2008.  She began her career in the School District of Philadelphia, for 11 years, moving through the roles of a 5th grade teacher, an Instructional Support Teacher for Mathematics, after-school coordinator, and Mentally Gifted Teacher.

Dr. Taylor earned her Bachelor's degree and first Master's degree in Education from Holy Family University.  She earned her Principal's certificate and a Master of Science in Educational Administration at Gwynedd-Mercy College.

Dr. Taylor lives in Abington Township, with her significant other and two children. She enjoys playing sports and is a huge EAGLES fan. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with her family and reading to her children. Dr. Taylor loves coming to work each day and wants to make a difference in the lives of the students she serves.

Mr. Joseph Rodriguez

Vice Principal

Mr. Rodriguez has been a member of the Norristown Area School District since 2007.  He began in NASD as an English as a Second Language Instructor at Gotwals Elementary School.   He became Lead Teacher at Gotwals Elementary, which lead to Vice Principal at East Norriton Middle School.  During his tenure at Gotwals and East Norriton, Mr. Rodriguez served as an assistant coach for the District Middle School Wrestling team.  He is currently the Vice Principal of Eisenhower Science & Technology Leadership Academy. 

Mr. Rodriguez earned his Bachelor’s degree from Beaver College and a Master’s degree in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  He earned his Principal’s certification at Arcadia University.  

Mr. Rodriguez lives in Collegeville, PA, with his wife, Courtney, three children and their dog, Sabrina.  He enjoys reading, sports (watching, coaching, and participating), and spending time with his family.
