Dear Hancock Families,

On behalf of the Hancock Parent Faculty Club (PFC), we would like to welcome you to the 2019- 2020 school year where together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of our students and staff! The PFC would love for you to join us around the table as we brainstorm and execute fun and interesting ways to support the students and their teachers.

Why would you want to participate in the PFC? 

• To be informed! You will hear firsthand from the principal, lead teacher and other guests from the District. 

• To be supportive of each other as a community. We need each other! 

• To have a hand in planning the events that your family enjoys and that you believe in – your opinion matters! The PFC is responsible for raising money that is used to support your child’s educational experience and more, for example: 

• Allocated amounts for field trips to all grades, reducing the out of pocket expense for all Hancock families 

• Scholastic Weekly Magazine, supplies for various Clubs. Teacher Appreciation Gifts, meals and much more! How does the PFC raise money? 

• The PFC hosts fun family events at school like Bingo Night, the Valentine’s dance, and other evening events as well as Spirit events 

• The PFC coordinates Spirit events at local venues, and organizes various fundraisers such as the Kidstuff Coupon Book and major fall and spring fundraisers. How can you get involved? 

• Attend meetings and events whenever you can! New ideas are welcome! 

• Volunteer in areas that work for you and your family. 

• Communicate your questions, ideas and resources that you are aware of by emailing Hancock.
