Cole Manor Envelope Drive! Help Support Student Activities.

Spend the night at Shoot 360 on Friday September 25th for a Cole Manor Family Night Out from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm!! There will be interactive games, competitions, and fun for the whole family. This is a chance to experience the fun of basketball. The event is fun for all ages and skill levels. A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to Cole Manor. The cost is $20 a child and space is limited! Make sure to register with the code or email. We hope to see you there!

Our amazing reading specialists traveled to first grade classrooms to introduce everyone to Oreo the Falcon. Oreo was all dressed up in his tuxedo and shared a book called, "Mr. Mosquito Put on His Tuxedo" by Barbara Olenyik Morrow. Thank you Oreo for visiting classrooms and sharing a great book! We can't wait to add to your scrapbook!

"Here Today, Ready for Tomorrow!" Attendance challenge is here!

Starting Tuesday, September 8, through Tuesday, October 20, students who achieve perfect attendance (no absences, no lateness, and no early dismissals — even if excused) will be automatically entered into prize drawings at the end of the challenge.

Why does attendance matter? Every school day provides opportunities for students to learn, build relationships, develop routines, and stay connected to their school community. Consistent attendance helps students start the year strong and stay on track for success.

Students who meet the challenge requirements will be entered into drawings for exciting prizes, including:

📚 Homework passes

🎁 Gift cards

🚲 Bicycles

🎮 Nintendo Switch & gaming gift card

🛴 Electric scooter with helmet

🎧 Beats/headphones

💡 A utility bill paid (up to $200 as a parent gift card)

Not all prizes will be offered at every grade level. Students will be entered into drawings for the prizes designated for their school level (elementary, middle, or high school).

This challenge is just the beginning! Throughout the school year, we'll be introducing additional attendance initiatives and opportunities for students to be recognized for showing up, being engaged, and building positive habits.

Joylette Hylick, Katherine Johnson's daughter, came to Cole Manor with her son who is a retired teacher to meet our students. She was very touched and inspired by the letters that our 3rd graders wrote during their Wit and Wisdom module about space. Joylette Hylick gave an amazing presentation to our students and we were so lucky to meet her!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Cole Manor's Teacher of the Year Mrs. Shuler!! This award was well deserved and the staff and students could not be more excited and proud of Mrs. Shuler. She is a true inspiration to us all!
