We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our Student Advisory Council, part of a district-wide initiative led by our Superintendent, Mr. Dormer. This group, made up of students from each class, will meet quarterly to share their experiences and ideas to help shape decisions that impact our schools. We had a fantastic first meeting, and our student representatives are excited to bring their voices forward! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage in meaningful discussions and play an active role in our school community. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this exciting journey together!

First Grade is continuing to work in the Module “A World of Books.” They have learned that books can teach about empathy. They listened to “Chocolate Milk Por Favor” and talked about how a new student might feel entering a school. They said asking the new friend to play on the swings would make the child feel welcomed! They used Strawbees to design their own swings! They did a FANTASTIC job!
