Yesterday, our local Marine Corps recruiter, SSG Gonzalez, stopped by to talk to scholars about the benefits of military service. Scholars tested their physical fitness and military readiness by strapping on a 25 lb weight vest and participating in a push-up challenge.
Roosevelt students had an amazing time creating artwork at Expressive Path. Their creativity and talent truly shined. We are proud to share that their artwork will be displayed at the Montgomery County Prothonotary’s Office, helping to create a warm and welcoming environment for all who visit the office. Way to go, Roosevelt Scholars!

Tomorrow was originally scheduled as an early dismissal day for grades 5–12. To honor that schedule and provide our staff their grading time, students in grades 5–12 will conclude their instructional day following the live, synchronous sessions in the morning.
Live synchronous instruction in the morning for all grade levels (K-12)
Independent asynchronous student assignments in the afternoon for elementary only (K-4)

The law and civics classes met with family court Judge Walker today at the Montgomery County Courthouse. He spoke to students about his job and educational journey. As a bonus, students got to watch a family court trial and witness the judicial process as it happened.
