Our Student Advisory Council just participated in their third meeting with Superintendent Mr. Dormer and the Assistant Director of Food Services. It was a fantastic success. This time, our students engaged in meaningful and collaborative conversations about school meals—sharing their honest feedback on what they enjoy, what could be improved, and offering thoughtful recommendations to enhance both breakfast and lunch options.
The students had an amazing time, offering insightful suggestions that reflect their needs and preferences. Their ideas and perspectives will play a crucial role in shaping improvements to our school meal program, ensuring that student voices are at the heart of the decision-making process.
We continue to be inspired by the enthusiasm, leadership, and creativity of our Student Advisory Council. This initiative, led by Mr. Dormer, remains a powerful platform for students to share their perspectives on various school-related topics. Their input is invaluable, and we are excited for the meaningful changes their ideas will bring to our school community.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this journey together!

Reminder: tomorrow is early dismissal. Dismissal will begin at 12:20

Our 4th graders met Mr. Rob Downey, the author of Until The Last Dog: A Memoir. Mr. Downey competed in dog sled sports for 40 years, including 20 winters in Alaska. Mr. Downey spoke about the beauty and dangers of the wilderness. It was a great connection to our Wit & Wisdom module about extreme settings and survival. Thank you Mr. Downey for spending time with us!

First grade students at Paul Fly had a great time while learning important fire safety skills! They participated in a fun, interactive lesson entitled "Prepare with Pedro" presented by the Red Cross to learn about emergency preparedness. Learning how to respond in an emergency—especially in the event of a fire—is crucial. Student's got to practice the "stay low" technique and coping skills to help manage stress during emergencies and everyday situations.

The staff from the John James Audubon visited our first grade. We learned a lot of cool facts about birds. We also met a special new friend named CeCe.

Just a reminder that tomorrow's Spirit Day has been changed to an Eagles Spirit Day! Let’s show our support for our home team by wearing Eagles gear or green and white. Go Eagles!

Paul Fly artists have work on display in the NASD Board Room!
