The Student Services Workshop will take place this Wednesday!

**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT** BINGO is now sold out!

We are excited to share that our second meeting with Mr. Dormer was a great success! During this session, our student representatives engaged in brainstorming sessions where they shared innovative ideas about reimagining learning spaces as part of the district’s Capital Plan. Students worked collaboratively in small groups to explore creative solutions for rethinking the design of classrooms, technology integration, specials areas, cafeteria, and outdoor spaces. Their ideas were truly impressive and will play an important role in shaping the future of our school environments.
We are thrilled to see the enthusiasm and creativity that our Student Advisory Council brings to the table. As part of this district-wide initiative, led by Superintendent Mr. Dormer, the Council will continue to meet to discuss and share student perspectives on a variety of school-related topics. Their input is invaluable, and we look forward to their continued involvement in shaping decisions that impact our school community.
We are excited for what’s ahead and look forward to sharing more updates as this journey progresses!

It’s Turkey Day here at Paul V. Fly Elementary School, and the students are loving the delicious feast! A big shoutout to our incredible staff for preparing this wonderful meal. We even have a special guest helping serve today—Mr. Dormer!

The 4th graders celebrated the end of Module 1 in Wit and Wisdom with a poetry party. To show off our knowledge of the literal heart, we played a fun Blooket showcasing our knowledge of the circulatory system. For the figurative great heart, we created poems inspired by The Red Wheelbarrow by William Carlos Williams. We also wrote out cards to people we know who show the characteristics of a great heart. We included brownies in our celebration, just like Jack and Walter Dean Meyers!

Paul Fly Elementary began collecting food for the annual law enforcement food drive last week! Please continue to send in non-perishable food items with your child. Collections will run through December 6th.

A special thank you to Corinne and Harry from Canine Partners for Life! Corinne taught our 4th graders about service dogs and Harry showed students how he helps Corinne every day.
