✨🐼 What a Day at Paul V. Fly! 🐼✨

Today we kicked off our PBIS Assembly with lots of cheers, smiles, and even a special visit from our Paul V. Fly Panda! 🎉 Teachers handed out the very first Golden Tickets of the year to students who were already flying with pride—and Mrs. Balalis, one of our ticket-givers, even scored a surprise Starbucks gift card! ☕💫

We also celebrated our hardworking students who completed their summer packets 📚✏️—they each received a certificate AND a special prize! 🌟

To wrap it all up, Mrs. Prodoehl pumped up our PVF attendance initiative (along with the district’s big push for great attendance). 🏫👏

It was a fun-filled day of celebration, Panda pride, and positive energy. Check out the pictures below—you can feel the excitement! 📸✨

This morning, Paul V. Fly students and staff joined together for a moment of silence in recognition of September 11th. We reflected on the values of kindness, courage, and working together, and honored the many helpers who showed bravery and care for others. ❤️💙

Tomorrow night is our first dine out of the year!

This week all of our students are learning and practicing our bus expectations and how to be safe on the bus! Please ask your child how to “fly with pride” on the bus!

Student voice matters at PVF! Our Building Leadership Team hosts regular “Lunch Bunch” meet-ups to hear what students love about school and what we can improve. During the first week of school, ALL Paul Fly students learn our PBIS rules and expectations. Students learn and practice expectations for their classroom, the hallways, the playground, the cafeteria, the bathroom, and the bus!

Starting the Day with Morning Meeting 🌟 At Paul V. Fly, every school day begins with a Morning Meeting in each classroom. This daily routine helps students build relationships, practice social skills, and foster a strong sense of community. By beginning the day together with greetings, sharing, and goal-setting, students feel connected, valued, and ready to learn.
