What a fantastic time at our Spring Fling Dance last Friday night! 💃🕺
Our 1st and 2nd grade students and their families filled the room with energy, laughter, and so many great dance moves. It was wonderful to see everyone coming together, making memories, and celebrating as a school community.

• Outdoor Field Day activities with Mrs. Rambo (weather permitting) from 5:30–7:00
• Kona Ice on site for a sweet treat 🍧 — a portion of all purchases will be donated back to our school!

🍄🟫🫛 Greener Partners teamed up with Mrs. McGuire and an awesome group of 4th graders yesterday to get their hands dirty and lay the groundwork for our garden! 🌱 Students built raised garden beds, foraged, and learned about which plants/weeds are edible in the wild while having a great time exploring and connecting with nature. Planting will begin next week—we can’t wait to see it grow!

What a joyful day at Hancock Elementary! 📚✨ In partnership with Reading is Fundamental (RIF) and Ametek, our students enjoyed a special book celebration filled with an engaging read aloud and excitement around choosing their very own books. Each student went home with THREE brand new books to add to their home library!

Our students had the chance to blast off into reading with a book giveaway, special guest readers, exciting author visits, buddy reading with different grade levels, and dedicated DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) time.
It was wonderful to see our school community come together to celebrate the joy of reading. Thank you to everyone who helped make the week so special for our students! 💙📖
