Congratulations to Mrs. Gambone for being recognized as Marshall Street’s Teacher of the Year! 🎉🍎🏆

Third grade students wrapped up their lessons with Riverbend Environmental Educational Center. After having a great time visiting the Norristown Farm Park on their field trip, they explored the school grounds, locating high points, low points, and identifying the school's nearest water bodies. Can't wait for next year's outdoor adventures! 💦💚

At Marshall Street’s Field Day Assembly, everyone enjoyed the inflatable character race! Unicorn was the winner! 🦄💙🤍👟🏅

During Marshall Street’s Field Day Assembly, students play additional games to earn points for their grade! 💙🤍👟🏅

Field Day at Marshall Street would not be complete without our traditional “Pie in the Face” contest! 🥧👏😎

Here are more photos from Marshall Street’s Annual Field Day! There’s nothing like playing with water on a warm spring day! 💦💙🤍👟🏅

The special area team took 33 students from fourth grade to the Philadelphia Rock Gym! These students have worked extra hard during specials and deserved to be recognized! As you can see, they had a blast! 🌟🧗

Kudos to our orchestra, band, fourth-grade chorus, Mr. Heizmann, and Ms. Turner! The students did an exceptional job at the Spring Concert. 🎶

Local author Lauren Petruschke visited Marshall Street! Students enjoyed hearing about the inspiration for her books and the writing process. Mrs. P. also read one of her books to second grade, and encouraged students to be creative writers themselves! 📚🖊️

Second graders enjoyed learning all about farming on their trip to Solly Brothers Farm. Each student planted a small garden, discovered the importance of honey bees, enjoyed a hayride, learned about chickens, and tried to milk a pretend cow.

Third graders enjoyed a day outside at Norristown Farm Park. Riverbend educators organized a fabulous day! Students experienced the watershed while investigating impervious and pervious surfaces, explored Stoney Creek for creatures, and went on a nature walk all while documenting their learning in their nature journal.

Congratulations to our 3rd & 4th grade girls who participated in the Girls on the Run 5K! This inspiring after-school program combined physical activity with lessons in confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits, culminating in a 5K run. 🏃♀️🩷 #NASDProud #BeTheLeader #GOTR
