ENG: The February Student of the Month ceremony was held Wednesday at 1:45 pm in the Library. This month's focus was academics. Thanks to everyone who nominated students this month. Please congratulate the following students for their achievements. 9th Grade: Hellen Lima Gomez & Aissata Barry 10th Grade: Gabrielle Innocent & Yuritzi Leon Maldonado 11th Grade: Jeremiah Richet & Mirian Ascencion-Andrade 12th Grade: Jada Lomax & Angeles Sanchez ESP: La ceremonia de Estudiante del Mes de febrero se llevó a cabo el miércoles a la 1:45 pm en la biblioteca. From February 21st to the 23rd Norristown DECA took 32 members to compete at the State Career Development Conference in Hershey. For many of our competitors, it was not just their first time at states but also their first time ever competing. We made a lot of incredible memories and had an unforgettable experience, all while making our mark. For the first time in years, NAHS DECA had one of our members, Jack Falk, running for the executive council. After countless hours of campaigning and hard work, Jack was elected to be on the 2024-2025 PA DECA State Officer Team. In addition to our newly elected executive council member, we had more NAHS DECA members making their mark on stage. The team of Zoe Alvarado, Sara Chaaraoui, and Allison Trejo-Leal received medallions on stage for being finalists in their event, IMCE. Lily Hernandez also received a medallion on stage for being a finalist in her event, PSE. Our four-year NAHS DECA member, Jack Rosen was also on stage to receive his medallion for high roleplay B in his event, ACT. Norristown DECA was also recognized for a handful of achievements such as doubling our membership, completing the membership campaign, and reaching Legendary Tier in the PA DECA Plan of Action. Congratulations to all of our members for their hard work and dedication. NAHS DECA had an amazing time at HERSHEY. We truly experienced the difference.

ENG: Come out on Tuesday, February 27th to Tosco’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant. A percentage of orders placed between 4pm-9pm will be donated to the PFC to support upcoming end of year celebrations. Athletic physicals will be available for anyone going out for a Spring sport on Tuesday February 20, 2024 at NAHS in the Health Suite starting at 3:00. If you already have had a physical and played a Fall or Winter sport you do not need another physical BUT need to do a recertification (see your BigTeams account).
