This past Tuesday, students and staff got the VIP treatment at Citizens Bank Park, complete with a tour of the stadium and an exclusive private lunch! It pays off to follow our PBIS norms: being safe, responsible and respectful opens some cool doors. In this case, stadium doors!! #GoPhils

Monday's teacher appreciation breakfast was brought to us by Wawa and Tuesday's giftscards were from Chick-fil-A! Off to a great start celebrating our teachers!

The district-wide art show was a huge success! From elementary sketches to high school installations, every school in our district showed up and showed out this weekend. We are beaming with pride for our student creators who remind us every day that the future is bright (and very colorful). We want to give a special shout-out to our Roosevelt artists!

ATTENTION ROOSEVELT SENIORS! We are holding an informational meeting on April 29th at 12:00 in room 204. Even if you were done in January, please be sure to come in and get all of the very important information that will take us from now until graduation day!

Yesterday, we had a great time with the Saint Joseph’s University Prevention Academy with our students discussing substance abuse and prevention. Students got a first hand account of the risk factors and means of prevention for substance abuse. Over the next few weeks, we will be welcoming them back to work in small groups.

The Mr. Norristown tradition continues! 🦅 Huge shoutout to Michael Flynn for a stellar performance representing Roosevelt. Between the guitar skills and the singing, he left it all on the stage! 🎸🎤 We are so proud of the way you represented our community last night. 💙🔥 (PS- We see you, Mrs. Delong!!)

To celebrate Women's History Month, City Year put together a beautiful luncheon to celebrate local women and their accomplishments, while encouraging our Roosevelt students to reach for the stars. City Year- thank you for such a beautiful and meaningful event!
