We are a credit recovery alternative setting for high school students. Coming to our school tends to hold a specific negative stereotype for students and in recent years, we have started having a first day of school picnic to help our students feel welcomed and wanted in our building and to push the family environment that we work toward every year.

The district-wide art show was a huge success! From elementary sketches to high school installations, every school in our district showed up and showed out this weekend. Yesterday, we had a great time with the Saint Joseph’s University Prevention Academy with our students discussing substance abuse and prevention. Students got a first hand account of the risk factors and means of prevention for substance abuse. Over the next few weeks, we will be welcoming them back to work in small groups.
