Roosevelt Scholars join Gear Up for a fun filled and educational trip to Montgomery County Community College. Scholars learned about the opportunities at MC3 and took a tour exploring the Campus!

(EN): 🚨❄️ Due to inclement weather, NASD schools and offices will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2026. However, learning will continue through a Flexible Instructional Day (FID). Students and staff will follow a Virtual Day schedule.
Tomorrow was originally scheduled as an early dismissal day for grades 5–12. To honor that schedule and provide our staff their grading time, students in grades 5–12 will conclude their instructional day following the live, synchronous sessions in the morning.
Live synchronous instruction in the morning for all grade levels (K-12)
Independent asynchronous student assignments in the afternoon for elementary only (K-4)

The law and civics classes met with family court Judge Walker today at the Montgomery County Courthouse. He spoke to students about his job and educational journey. As a bonus, students got to watch a family court trial and witness the judicial process as it happened.


Today, Roosevelt students took a break from the books and experienced science in real time at the Franklin Institute.
