Throughout their time at Paul V. Fly, these students have grown as learners, leaders, friends, and members of our school community. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments.

Our young performers did an outstanding job sharing their talents through music, movement, and smiles as they showcased all they have learned throughout the school year. From Peace in My Heart to We Are First Graders, our students filled the room with joy, confidence, and excitement for the journey ahead.

Thanks to Vertex and Wish for Wheels, our second grade students had an incredible opportunity to receive a new bike, helmet, and bike lock! Our students learned about bike safety and the importance of always wearing a helmet. Students were so excited to take their new bikes home and start riding! Thank you again to Vertex and Wish for Wheels for making this dream a reality!
This week, all kindergarten students brought home “just right readers" books to help them continue building strong reading habits and skills over the summer. These books were carefully selected to match each child’s reading level so they can practice reading with confidence and success. Encouraging your child to read a little each day will help maintain the progress they made this school year and keep their love of reading growing all summer long!

Mr. Fusco recently took a his students outside to enjoy a beautiful outdoor learning experience while reading Action Jackson. Students were engaged, excited to participate, and fully immersed in the story as they enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine.
Experiences like these remind us that learning can happen anywhere and that a change of scenery can spark curiosity, conversation, and a love of reading. Great job, Mr. Fusco and our third graders, for making the most of a beautiful day while bringing literature to life!

We had an AMAZING turnout for our Kindergarten Information Session with over 40 incoming kindergarten students and their families joining us at Paul V. Fly Elementary School!
Families had the opportunity to tour the building, meet our incredible staff, learn more about kindergarten, and begin building connections as they prepare for this exciting next chapter. The energy, excitement, and smiles throughout the evening were truly wonderful to see!
A huge thank you to all of our staff members, tour guides, office staff, custodial team, leadership team, and everyone who helped behind the scenes to create such a welcoming and positive experience for our future Panda families.

Tomorrow, May 28th is Field Day (rain or shine). Please have your child wear their assigned color and sneakers. Apply sunscreen before coming to school (consider a hat, too). If your child brings in a water bottle, please label it with their name. Thank you for your support!
In observance of Memorial Day, there is no School on Monday.
Tomorrow is an early dismissal. Please notify your child’s teacher and the main office if there is a change to your child’s transportation.
