Mrs. Rotondo's class had fun celebrating International Dot Day and learning about Johnny Appleseed.

In PE this week, 4th Grade students are connecting what they’re learning in ELA/Wit and Wisdom to movement! Through fun fitness stations, they explored how the heart works and learned about target heart rate—the ‘just right’ zone where their heart is getting stronger without working too hard. What an awesome way to start the school year with teamwork, energy, and lots of smiles!

Starting the year with teamwork, laughter, and fun! Students in all grades are learning and growing together through collaborative games in Physical Education!

This week, some 4th grade students learned how powerful their words can be. Just like in the story, they tried putting toothpaste back in the tube with a toothpick — nearly impossible! A great reminder that once words are said, they can’t always be taken back. 💬❤️

🍉 Watermelon Math Fun!

Our 4th grade students had a blast enjoying juicy watermelon slices and turning math time into snack time! 🍉✨
They used the seeds for some hands-on Place Value practice — tasty AND educational!
