On Tuesday, October 7th, we hosted our very first Family, Science, and Fun workshop at Hancock Elementary — and it was a blast! Students and their families explored hands-on, STEELS-centered activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity.

From 3D printing and Lego engineering to experimenting with magnets, electricity, and even building suspension bridges out of spaghetti and marshmallows — there was something for everyone! Families also learned more about the Norristown Public Library and enjoyed delicious apples, courtesy of Frecon Farms in Boyertown.

A big thank you to the Norristown Library for partnering with us to make this event such a success. 🎉 Students who completed a science-themed scavenger hunt were even entered to win tickets to Legoland!

We’re already looking forward to the next one!
