PSSA testing for 3rd and 4th Grades begins on Monday. Each day will be a Spirit Day so we are asking students in all grades to wear the color of the day during testing.
What a perfect day for a trip to Martha's Community Farm! The children had a great time learning about plants, fruit, and vegetables. We saw a honeybee colony, tasted different plant parts, listened to a story and moved like a plant, and got to plant our very own seeds!
On Wednesday, 4/17 students from each grade were awarded a Golden Paw. Congratulations to our winners.

The Magic of Reading
Kindergarten and Third grade students read together last week.
Yesterday, Fourth Grade had an ice cream party sponsored by West Norriton Township Police Department.
In Kindergarten, students read the story “Frank’s Ice Pops” in Geodes. This story was about the person who invented ice pops, Frank Epperson. They made their own using cups, bananas, juice and sticks. They were delicious!
Thank you to La Chilanguita for providing lunch for the teachers on parent/teacher conference day. The food was delicious! Thank you for your generosity and support of our school.

4th grade students had the wonderful opportunity to dissect frogs last week during the S.P.A.R.K.S. Science Program. That day many students realized their interest in marine biology and confirmed their career interest in being a veterinarian. We are so proud of our students for keeping an open mind and seeing science as an avenue for a future career!
On Thursday, 3/14, students had a wonderful time outside for a Mystery Motivator.
