Whitehall 3rd Grade English Language Learners had the special opportunity to take a trip to Longwood Gardens to learn about how nature can make us feel happy and calm through the Benefits of Nature program. "Breathe in...T-R-E-E..., hold, breathe out...T-R-E-E." The sounds of flowing water and scents from peppermint and lavender made us all feel great!

Yesterday Stella from 2nd Grade spent the day with Dr. Kirksey as the Student Principal of the Day. Stella visited classrooms and lunches, ate lunch with Dr. Kirksey, got to sit in the "Big Chair", and carry the walkie-talkie. Stella said her favorite part of the day was calling the bus numbers on the microphone. Stella won this job during the PFC Spring Basket Raffle!
