Congratulations to 3 of last year's 4th Graders whose art projects have been chosen as finalists in the Fresh Artists “My Time to Shine” Artful Suns Montgomery County Voting Stickers Project. Only 45 finalists were chosen out of 759 entries. Their art projects will be turned into stickers to be distributed to voters at all Montgomery County polling centers on Election Day. Congrats to Aylin, Angelique, and Esther.

Each week a Golden Paw is awarded to a student in each grade for going above and beyond what exemplifies the quality of the month. This month we focused on being positive. The students were rewarded with a medal, a prize, and due to a donation from the Elmwood Park Zoo a free admission ticket to the zoo. Congratulations to our winners and a special thank you to the Elmwood Park Zoo.

Today, we held our PAWS kickoff assembly. At the assembly, student and staff participants played a game with questions about our PAWS behavior expectations.
