Congratulations to 3 of last year's 4th Graders whose art projects have been chosen as finalists in the Fresh Artists “My Time to Shine” Artful Suns Montgomery County Voting Stickers Project. Only 45 finalists were chosen out of 759 entries. Their art projects will be turned into stickers to be distributed to voters at all Montgomery County polling centers on Election Day. Congrats to Aylin, Angelique, and Esther.
Each week a Golden Paw is awarded to a student in each grade for going above and beyond what exemplifies the quality of the month. This month we focused on being positive. The students were rewarded with a medal, a prize, and due to a donation from the Elmwood Park Zoo a free admission ticket to the zoo. Congratulations to our winners and a special thank you to the Elmwood Park Zoo.

Wildcats in the kitchen! Students in our Autistic Support program had the opportunity to participate in a cooking lesson with Chef Jamela B, a Whitehall parent. FALLing in love with Inclusion! The Whitehall Best Buddies club held a collaborative event where students were able to communicate and build relationships through making fall posters for around the school!
“In Kindergarten, students have been learning so much about Our Five Senses and how to be Pawsome students! We tasted different kinds of apples 🍎 🍏, went to our first PAWS assembly, have been reading and discussing different texts, and have been making new friends. Keep up the great work!
On Friday the Autistic Support 3rd and 4th grade classrooms had students practice interpersonal communication skills and math skills by selling items for their apple orchard. The money raised went to benefit Best Buddies Program.
