(ES): El sábado por la mañana, NASD distribuyó más de 400 abrigos de invierno en menos de una hora. Muchas gracias a Conicelli por su generosa donación de abrigos, a la escuela primaria Davenport, al equipo de Operaciones de NASD y a nuestro personal y sus familiares que se ofrecieron como voluntarios.
(EN): On Saturday morning, NASD distributed over 400 winter coats in less than an hour. Huge thanks to Conicelli for their generous coat donation, Davenport Elementary, the NASD Operations team, and our staff and their family members that volunteered.



Today we had a visit from Glitch from the Harlem Wizards to promote their game at Norristown Area High School on November 17th.

Here is a reminder for Monday and Tuesday this week:
Monday: Half Day for students, dismissal at 12:20.
Tuesday: No School, Teacher In-Service Day

4th graders are moving onto division! Mrs. Crim’s math class loves using base ten blocks to divide.



The following third and fourth grade students were given a certificate for a free meal at Applebee's on 11/3 for being PAWSOME students…Keep up the PAWSOME work!



Yesterday we ended our Walkathon Fundraiser with the Wildcat Walk. It was a little chilly and breezy but the kids still had a great time walking/running with friends and listening to the music. Thanks to all of the families that donated towards the purchase fun equipment for recess. The last Thank You goes to the NAHS DECA student volunteers for helping manage the event and contribute to the kids fun.

For the month of October, all teachers and staff will be looking for students that demonstrate positivity.
On Wednesday, 11/1 one student from each grade was awarded the Golden Paw. Congratulations to our winners!

Today we celebrated book character day and Dr. Kirksey dressed up and shared a book about the Madrigal family. She also had a twin. Hello Mirabel twins!
