The 42nd Hall of Champions Association’s Induction Ceremony will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 7 PM in the Norristown Area High School auditorium. Established in 1977, the goal of the Norristown Area High School Hall of Champions is to perpetuate the accomplishments of outstanding NAHS athletes. The Hall of Fame was simultaneously established to recognize alumni who made substantial contributions in various areas of life. Meet this year’s outstanding inductees by visiting the NASD Hall of Champions page. Refreshments will be served in the NAHS Cafeteria following the ceremony. Family, friends, classmates, and the public are invited to attend. Gifted students in fifth through eighth grade at Blockson Middle School participated in a discussion using the Socratic method. This structure gives the students an opportunity to work with other students from all the grades. They are building their communication, teamwork, and participation skills while learning from each other. Each week students will focus on a different story or topic to discuss.
Los estudiantes dotados de quinto a octavo grado de la escuela intermedia Blockson participaron de un seminario en donde hablaron usando el método socrático. Esta estructura brinda a los estudiantes la oportunidad de trabajar con otros estudiantes de todos los grados. Están desarrollando sus habilidades de comunicación, trabajo en equipo y participando mientras aprenden unos de otros. Cada semana los estudiantes se concentrarán en una historia o tema diferente para discutir.
