(EN): Last weekend, NASD hosted the VEX Robotics Eastern PA State Championships, welcoming 96 teams from across the region as they competed for a spot at the VEX World Championships in St. Louis later this spring. We are incredibly grateful to our students and parent volunteers whose time, energy, and dedication helped make this event such a success. 🎮🏆 A special shoutout to our middle school team, 255T, for earning the Judges Award—an outstanding accomplishment that reflects their hard work, teamwork, and innovation!

(EN): Our 4th and 5th grade gifted students recently put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work during Dream It, Design It 2026! 🐾💡🧠 Students researched an animal’s “wild instincts” and designed enrichment devices that would help stimulate natural behaviors that can become dulled in captivity. From brainstorming to building, they collaborated with peers and applied their research in hands-on ways. In a few weeks, students will present their designs and share the thinking behind their creations. We can’t wait to see the final results!
This experience also helps support our 4th grade gifted students as they prepare for the transition to middle school next year, giving them the opportunity to meet and work with the middle school gifted teachers they’ll see again soon.
